Full name: Andarnaurram
Andarna is a golden dragon, and small enough that the other cadets write her off as weak. Her full name is Andarnaurram, and that dismissal is the point: her size hides an ability nobody saw coming.
She becomes Violet's second bond, which makes Violet the first rider known to bond two dragons. Where Tairn is overwhelming force, Andarna is something stranger and quieter — underestimated until it is far too late.
Her hidden gift is the ability to freeze time. It is a power that rewrites what everyone assumed about her, and about golden dragons more broadly.
Andarna represents the story's recurring lesson that size and strength are not the same thing. She does not need to be the biggest dragon in the room. She needs the right moment, and she chooses it.
